  • Leading International Installation Contractor

    A two year project involvement for the installation of a 10” reeled gas pipeline c/w 2” Methanol piggyback line in the Southern North Sea. The project included Spool base design and set up, pipeline lay and trenching, installation and piling of subsea manifolds, tie in spool installation, pre commissioning, mattressing, and rock dumping activities.     Offshore Energy UK Limited was commissioned to carry out a cable approach and shore landing design risk management assessment. The resulting report gave an independent and impartial view as to risks associated with Port Dafarch bay and the installed Celtic Connect Cable. The report addressed identified risks in terms of likelihood and mitigation of risks in terms of limitation of severity, avoidance and removal / reduction of risk to that of the existing cable installation.     Offshore Energy was commissioned to look at the re-design of subsea pod containments for the housing of electronic water and tidal monitoring equipment. Client and operational requirements were taken into the design basis, including a clear polycarbonate face plate to inspect the electronics status without opening the pod. The design was undertaken in line with PD5500 pressure vessel code. Find out more

    The Sheringham Shoal offshore wind farm is owned equally by Statoil and Statkraft through joint-venture company Scira Offshore Energy Limited. Statoil is operator for the project during the development phase and Scira is the wind farm operator. The project utilises Statoil’s longstanding offshore activities and Statkraft’s expertise in renewable energy. Find out more
